Through My Lens

A childhood preserved in verse. Raw, tender poems on womanhood, life, love, and innocence — written not to impress, but to survive.

I was the quiet kid who learned to write early and would pen down her thoughts and feelings as poems.

Some books are written to impress.

But this one? It was written to survive.

Through My Lens is a collection of poems written over the course of a childhood. From the innocence of a little girl to the restless thoughts of a sixteen-year-old, these pages preserve moments that time could not erase.

Inside this volume are four different worlds…

A Woman gives voice to women who dare to dream in societies that would rather see them remain silent. It is a fearless meditation on dignity, ambition, resilience, and the strength required simply to exist as female.

Life explores the beauty and brutality of being human. It asks difficult questions, celebrates small victories, mourns inevitable losses, and finds meaning where others often overlook it.

When the Heart Speaks is a collection of poems on love and heartbreak. They speak of affection, longing, disappointment, hope, and the unforgettable marks people leave on one another. Whether love found you or escaped you, there is something here that will feel familiar.

The Kid Sees is the collection of lullabies and children’s poems I prepared to return to where every journey begins… with wonder, innocence, imagination, and gentle dreams.

These poems were never written to follow literary trends, they were written because they needed to exist. Some of them were born from joy, others from grief, and some came as whispered prayers, others as unanswered questions.

Together, they form the emotional diary of a young writer learning to observe the world, to question it, to love it, and sometimes to challenge it.

If you have ever searched for yourself in a poem…

If you have ever loved too deeply, dreamed too boldly, cried in silence, or refused to surrender despite everything…

You may discover that these pages have been waiting for you all along.

Through My Lens is more than a collection of poems, it is the story of growing up, one verse at a time.
